Overview
NWF Journal is the literary journal of the Northern Writers Forum. It publishes poetry, fiction, interviews, columns, and book reviews, placing Northern Nigerian writing in a wider literary conversation under the banner “Bold Voices, New Writing.”
Challenge
The journal needed a site that could present issues and categories clearly, surface featured publications, support submissions and subscriptions, and feel distinct from a static organizational brochure. Visitors had to move easily between reading, browsing categories, and learning how to submit.
Solution
Quodel delivered a journal platform with featured publications, category hubs (Poetry, Column, Interview, Book Review, Fiction), issue pathways, and subscribe/submit flows. The layout keeps reading first, with enough structure for editors to grow the archive issue by issue.
Results
- Publication-ready browsing for poetry, fiction, interviews, and reviews
- Clear paths for readers, contributors, and subscribers
- Stronger digital identity for Northern Writers Forum’s literary output
- Structure ready for new issues and featured work
"Quodel delivered a site we are proud to share, clear, fast, and true to our brand."
